United Airlines has announced it will be adding new direct flights from New York Newark to Istanbul from July 1st, 2012. Flights will operate daily, using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, leaving Newark at 19:27 and arriving to Istanbul at 12:20 the next day. Return flights will leave Istanbul 13:55 to arrive in New York at 18:02. [...]

Spanair has started codesharing with UNITED on flights from Madrid Barajas to Washington Dulles, DC. The route is operated by an AerLingus Airbus A330-200. Spanair also offers connection to Las Palmas, Ibiza, A Coruña, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao.
