Due to a joint agreement with American Airlines and British Airways, Iberia is launching new transatlantic routes. Iberia will introduce flights from Los Angeles to Madrid on March 28th. Spanair has started codesharing with UNITED on flights from Madrid Barajas to Washington Dulles, DC. The route is operated by an AerLingus Airbus A330-200. Spanair also offers connection to Las Palmas, Ibiza, A Coruña, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao.
