Starting 1st August 2012, Lufthansa will introduce the Airbus A380 on flights from Houston to Frankfurt. The A380 will replace Boeing 747-400 and is scheduled to operate until 27th October 2012. Source: Airline Route

Lufthansa is going to start Frankfurt – Rio de Janeiro codeshare service with TAM next sunday 20th of February 2011. The route will be operated 5 times a week by the German and the Brazilian airlines.
